The mined ore required sorting, crushing and tailings separation. For this purpose, crushing steps and washing devices were used. Such an ore processing plant was also built near the Ludovika mine in the middle of the 19th century.
The waste water from the machine shaft was led to the water wheel of the stupa through the water adit. From there, it was diverted by a ditch to the taich water reservoir near the church and from there by a water pump to the Ferdinand shaft. The stumbling waste was deposited on the lower heap. Subsequently, this was almost entirely taken away and processed in a modern ore treatment plant at the entrance of the village. Today, there is an educational board at the site of the stupa, which shows how the entire stupa worked.
