The Renaissance burgher house on Kutnohorská Street is among the most architecturally valuable buildings in the historic centre of the town.
This three-storey, basemented building with a three-bay layout and a courtyard gallery reflects the wealth of the burgher class, closely linked to the development of mining in the region. The interior features cross vaults, stone portals and a horseshoe-shaped staircase with stone steps. The façade is decorated with sgraffito rustication and a distinctive circular corner bay window, which gives the building a representative character. The house is a valuable example of Renaissance burgher architecture and an important part of the cultural heritage of mining towns in Central Slovakia.
