The Chapel of the Holy Sepulcher from 1594 is a scaled-down copy of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem
It is the only one in Slovakia that has survived to this day. In pleas to ward off the Turkish danger, the miners promised to build the Calvary Road. During the work of the Jesuits in the Špania Dolina in the second half of the 17th century, the chapel of the Holy Sepulcher was the last eighth station of the Way of the Cross. The Passion Plays - the all-day procession in Holy Week started with the first stop at the Garden of Gethsemane, at the current parish church in Banská Bystrica, and led through Medený Hámor, Kostiviarska, Jakub and all the way to Špania Dolina. It was 11 km long.
